Michael Jennings-Offen

Editor

Mike J-O has too many hobbies; he’s a home-brewing, woodworking, techy maker, baking, retro-game collecting drummer and father of two kids who still don’t entirely understand what he does for a living… And given the fun he has at work, he’s not entirely sure either. With a passion for post ignited by access to a Video Toaster in his middle-school years, and with over 20 years professional experience since, MJO thrives in crafting engaging stories. Always aiming to enhance the edit by complimenting content with form, and striving to ensure all his edits are motivated by the moment, MJO takes the craft of post personally.

Originally from DC, MJO moved west to attend Pitzer College, lived and worked in LA for 14 years, and returned home to work with a wide variety of clients including Discovery Networks, National Geographic, the FBI, the International Rescue Committee and numerous other government and corporate clients. From topicals to long form series; from advocacy to comedy; MJO has cut it all and loves a nuanced storytelling challenge.
