Max has spent 25 years in the creative business of storytelling. As an Emmy and Peabody award-winning producer at ABC News, he produced first-ever live broadcasts from Tibet as well as a live show originating from a US Navy nuclear submarine at sea. He has interviewed US presidents, reported from war zones, profiled business leaders, covered breaking news, and produced for anchors from George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts and Jake Tapper to Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson. As a network executive at Discovery, he was part of a senior strategic team which led the creative rebrand of a network within the portfolio, while developing and executive producing over 200 hours of non-fiction programming that broke ratings records and expanded audience reach while garnering critical acclaim. As a teenager, he lived on a 40-foot sailboat. He now resides in Washington DC with his wife and daughter – on land.
