A DMV local with a background in music promotions, social media management, and both commercial and indie on-set film experience, Laura has honed their multifaceted skill set at Long Story Short since arriving in 2019. From assisting the writing and strategic communications team and producing a weekly mixology series for the White House Historical Association, to interviewing local mixologists for a DC Oral History Collaborative project, and assisting with live events and field shoots from city to city, Laura provides invaluable support to the team. Aside from work, they enjoy exploring the city through events and activities – or reading a good book at home, surrounded by plants.
