De’Anthony Lucas
Senior Director of Production Operations
From a very early age, De’Anthony wanted to work in television and was even voted “Most Likely to Be A Talk Show Host” in high school. He got his first job after college working as an intern at WREX-Channel 13 in Rockford, Illinois. After a year of listening to boring police scanners, he packed his bags and moved to Chicago, Illinois where he got his first production assistant job on a reality tv series called “Starting Over”.
De’Anthony has developed a very diverse production background. He worked for The Oprah Winfrey Show for almost 12 years where he started out as a Tape Logger and worked his way up to Production Manager for five shows on the Oprah Winfrey Network. He managed the show budgets, crew and logistics for many television specials and high-profile interviews with countless celebrities and newsmakers.
Since Harpo, he’s had the opportunity to expand his production career and manage a variety of projects including reality television shows and corporate videos. Before moving to the district, he was the Line Producer at FCB Advertising Agency where some of the clients included: Clorox, Glad and Michelob Ultra.
