Catherine Zuckerman

Senior Writer

Catherine is a writer with more than two decades of experience in print and digital platforms. A journalist by trade, she earned her first bylines when she was a teenager, in the local newspaper of her small town in upstate New York. Creative storytelling has always been core to Catherine’s life and career. She was a staff writer at National Geographic for many years and has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Nature Conservancy Magazine, and more. Her areas of expertise are science, health, and education, and she has covered everything from job burnout to the Apollo 14 “moon trees” project to sutures made with beet juice. At LSS, she brings her journalistic integrity and curiosity to her work helping clients shape narratives, messaging, and stories that are engaging and concise — and never cliche. Catherine lives near Washington, DC, with her husband and two young children.
