Bob came to LSS from print journalism and nonprofit media relations, working for the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF). He developed an expertise in nonprofit and philanthropic communications, specializing in global health, sustainable development, and education. But you can also find him writing about history, food/drink, and travel, co-writing an award-winning book on the history of the cocktail, “Spirits, Sugar, Water, Bitters” (Rizzoli, 2019). He leads strategic writing and podcasting for LSS, splitting his time between Charlottesville, VA, and Washington, DC.
