Ted joined LSS as its incredibly talented Senior Editor. Before that, he spent seven years working with the D.C.-based, family-owned production company “Future View Inc.”

Ted grew up in North Sioux City, South Dakota, making nonsense home videos with his younger brother. He got his first camera during freshman year of high school, and hasn’t put it down since. He went on to Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Film and Video Production.

His work has taken him from the swamps of the Everglades to the streets of Shanghai, and many other exotic locales in between. While he’s gained much from each experience, he’s also left a bit of himself behind – most notably, his appendix in South Africa while covering the 2010 World Cup.

He also recently started his own company, “C110 Films,” to facilitate the sale of beautiful and compelling online stock footage.

Ted lives in Columbia Heights, and loves puzzle and strategy video games when he’s not filming or editing. And his favorite color is yellow.
