Jessica is an award winning producer and consultant, developing her expertise in short form content through her experiences at NBC, The Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and ABC News. In September 2008, Jessica created Long Story Short Media, an independent creative consulting and producing firm, specializing in short form, multi-use content production. Her video work and live productions have been seen around the globe.
In just five years, Jessica’s short form projects earned Long Story Short Media more than 30 awards, including an Emmy Nomination, a Webby Award and a People’s Choice Webby, a 2012 Webby Nomination in 2 categories, 6 CINE Golden Eagle Awards, a CINE Special Jury Award, 7 Silver Telly Awards, 6 Bronze Telly Awards, 2 gold and 1 silver Davey Award, a Platinum MarCom Award and an AEGIS Film and Video Production Award. Additionally, her work with The Gates Foundation Living Proof Project earned 2 Webby nominations.
Jessica has prepped and interviewed thousands of individuals, from every living U.S. President, international heads of state, celebrities, people appearing in front of an audience for the first time, and many others all over the world. She has written a variety of content styles for audiences ranging from hundreds to millions. Additionally, Jessica uses her production skills to bring editorial context and flow to live events.
Her work has taken her throughout the United States and to a variety of countries, including Ghana, Brazil, Rwanda, Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco, India, Tanzania, Mozambique, Burundi, Thailand, Cote D’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Malawi, the UK, and Canada.
She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, David, and their son Alexander and daughter Ella.
