Hallye came to LSS as General Manager from an award-winning career of trying to generally manage the rush of daily broadcast news operations and the challenges of long-form video production.

She was the Senior Operations Producer at ABC News Nightline under Ted Koppel for more than a decade, where she directed the logistics of the daily broadcast with a staff of 60 producers, editors, technicians and engineers, all while overseeing a multimillion dollar annual budget. She also managed operations on major remotes, town meetings and live breaking news events around the country and the world.

Hallye also served as a senior producer at Koppel on Discovery at the Discovery Channel for 3 years where she helped produce long-form documentaries and series. She then went on to help create natural history documentaries as a line producer at National Geographic Studios.

She takes a break from the challenges and rewards of video production by focusing on passions that include cooking, gardening and working on special projects at her kids’ school.

Hallye lives in Washington, D.C., where she is also the general manager of her family, including her video producer husband, Peter and their son Aidan, daughter Ella and neurotic but lovable dog, Maxie.
